Meanwhile the OpenEEG project languishes, though a lot of source material indicates my wish to develop psionic powers overnight through reading brainwaves was perhaps slightly optimistic. Thinking of setting it up as an EOG next just for fun, see if could do the eye following trick with it..
Starting to feel like if I just struck rich I could go Jeff Koons, just brainstorming stuff and getting other people to realize the projects
But first maybe gotta focus on doing things right and not doing too many projects overlapping...

Anyway, wow! Your girly is a biotechie too? What a champ! XD What does she do in the labs?
I haven't been slicing and dicing lately.. I'm looking at the micro RNA expression profiles of antipsychotic drug treated mice brain, to hopefully uncover some of the detailed mechanisms behind the side effects, and how they actually work [they were diced for me this time]. Once that's all done I'll be back to looking at my human schizophrenia/affective brains.
I'm loving it and I doubt I'll ever get sick of it. The brain is so fascinating, and experience with mental disorders only fuels the passion. Cognitive science would be awesome to get into. Goodluck with it!
OpenEEG project? You're a part of that? That would be fun in a nerdy way... Yeah I have dreams of reading minds.. I've had to settle for reading the transcriptome instead. Expression (of genes)~ Expression (of thought, feelings and all that) - it's kinda similar o_0
Apart from that I'm working on maxing my fitness level [+ STR + AGI] and hoping to get back into tae kwon do to finally grab my black belt. As well as teaching myself hiragana and working on my next cosplay. Having too many interests can be a downer..

The jedi test ( in this case) is the process through which the superior female places the male in a simulation of connubial bliss. If after one month no horrendously annoying habits or structural flaws in the male are found, the female may choose to take her chosen victim to her own lair to begin the spawning process.
Other jedi tests include traversing ten meters of ice-floe, spending a night outdoors in -20C, and so forth but this one has so far proven less arduous than the ones mentioned above.
